-What's the price of Kindle Fire? How affordable is Kindle Fire. It's $199. -That price tag is a big reason why Amazon's new Kindle Fire could truly give Apple a run for its money. -People are gonna go into a store this holiday season without very much money in their pocket and they are gonna say $200 or $500 and it's not very hard to answer. -On paper, the Kindle Fire has half the features as the iPad, but CNET senior editor argues that those are things the average tablet users doesn't actually need. -Most studies so far have found that tablet owners overwhelmingly use their tablets for casual gaming, for web browsing, and e-mail and for information like news and books. -And speaking of books, Amazon's built in content library gives it clear advantage over other tablets that have tried to enter the market. -They are coming at this with an entire content the systems very much like Apple is. So, they don't have start over. They don't have to rely on Android app developers. -Whether the Kindle Fire is truly out for iPad blood is yet to be seen. -What amazon has done here very cleverly is create kind of sideways competitor to the iPad. The Kindle Fire is not an iPad competitor directly.
