CNET First Look
All-new Android TV in action at Google I/OCNET's Scott Stein gets a look at the new Android TV. The new user interface offers better integration with a smartphone, smartwatch, and tablet, plus new voice search capabilities for better discovery of TV shows.
I'm Scott Stein at Google IO 2014 and Android TV is here. Screens, screens everywhere. We've seen small screens and this is the big screen. Now, developers are gonna be able to get their hands on a development kit for this, this is not the final build of Android TV, but it is here on display, the small little box, kind of in keeping with these connected devices that we've already seen and there is a micro-console element, Game playing. This is the game controller. And it will also allow you to use a remote with your phone or with the Android wear watch you can use it to, move around on the screen and navigate or, you can actually use it to make voice requests so you could say, show me science fiction movies from the 1970s. And there they are. The biggest movies of the 1970's, which is pretty cool. And it can show things on Google play and also things on YouTube, available right down here. So it's an early look at Android Tv, Google Cooler IO, lots of TV stuff happening, lots of screen stuff, I'm Scott Stein from CNET.
