Acer's Xplova X5 is the next generation of cycling computers
What is the Xplova X5?
Besides being the quirkiest new product name of the year, I think, it is a cycling computer.
Now what is a cycling computer?
Apparently, it's a computer for your bicycle.
And that means it's a GPS system.
It can track where you're going.
You can track your friend's route.
They can track your heart rate.
It also has a camera built in That will capture photos and video.
And the clever part is it can trigger the short video clips that it captures based on either your heart rate.
You get up to a certain heart rate and it does a little capture clip right there.
Or using the GPS Would you go by lets say a notable land mark it can take a quick video clip right there.
It all seems like a lot of technology if you want to go ride your back but it's an interesting way to pack a lot of stuff, and like I said it just goes right on your handlebars.
And basically create a new category called cycling computer.
I wonder if we're gonna see more of those later this year or next year.
There's now exact price or availability date for this guy right now, but an eye out for it.
It is the Xplova X5.
