Acer announces a new beastly PredatorThe Triton 700 can pack a lot of power into its skinny frame.
Acer known for its pricey powerful gaming systems has ventured into some new price territory as well as its traditional power gaming. Its new laptops will be all ready by the time folks start heading back to school. Acer claims its new 15.6 inch thin and slight TRITON 700 notebook delivers compromised free gaming thanks to dual fans which allow current fast over clockable components. It certainly has some interesting design choices, such as the transparent gorilla glass touchpad which sits above the keyboard. And while Acer boasts about how thin it is, it's not really that light. It's only about 3.2 ounces lighter than its midrange 15.6" model. But it does have colored backlit mechanical keys, which I can always get behind. The price performance balance middle child, the Helios 300, Is a distinguished by-obtuse of Acer's updated aero blade 3D fans. It's similar to the GTX 1060 class of Predator 15 and 17 with respect to specs, but with a somewhat less flashy design, different connectors, and lower prices. As for its new budget Nitro 5, we're pretty thin on important details, like, price! It joins the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 and host of other models which incorporate the recent lower cost in video GeForce 1050 and 1050Ti series of GPUs.
