While the design is a little different than other Olympus models -- the company says the all-aluminum body has "more aggressive lines" --  the E-M10 M2 stiil retains the retro aesthetic that's been informing Olympus' designs for the past six years.

The camera will come in black and silver (with some kit lenses to match) as well as all black.

When equipped with the power-zoom 14-42mm lens, the E-M10 M2 forms a relatively small, lightweight package.

From above, it looks like Olympus awkwardly crammed a lot of dials on the top.

From behind, you can see how the dials are staggered vertically. Not only do the varying levels make it easier to quickly get to them with the right fingers, but the milled-aluminum textures feel different from each other for quick tactile feedback while you're using the viewfinder.

The pop-up flash control is on the power switch; if you push past On, the flash pops up.

Though the flash itself is a bit big, the bulb isn't.

Like its predecessor, the E-M10 M2 has a tiling LCD. New in this model, when you're using the viewfinder the LCD can double as a touchpad that lets you move the selected autofocus point while you're looking through the viewfinder.

The back control layout is a little different that the earlier model's, but most notably the camera has a much bigger, nicer viewfinder.

When the zoom lens is retracted, the camer has a fairly slim profile.
