Artist George Folz loves "Star Wars." Deeply. And he shows his love by illustrating his favorite characters and moments scene by scene in an original daily "Star Wars" comic that he shares on Twitter.

Whether it's clueless Stormtroopers searching for C-3PO and R2-D2 or Jabba the Hutt trying to impress Slave Leia, Folz has every moment covered. Here are some of our favorites panels that he's posted since the beginning of the year, when he started his project.

"I wanted to do something that would strengthen my artistic muscles while showing love for something that's brought me a lot of joy," artist George Folz told CNET's Crave blog of his daily comic.

In this dramatic panel by artist George Folz, Luke Skywalker faces off against his father Darth Vader in an epic lightsaber battle.

Artist George Folz does the line work for each comic panel by hand with a red, green or pink pencil. He then inks over those lines with a water brush and uses Photoshop for coloring and toning.

It's hard to decide who to feel more sorry for in this comic panel: Jabba the Hutt trying to impress Princess Leia, or Leia, who looks less than thrilled to be chained to him.

In this all-green action shot between Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett, it's easy to see why lightsabers always beat blasters.

In this panel, we're reminded of the time Ben Kenobi impressed Luke Skywalker with his Jedi powers to convince Stormtroopers to look elsewhere for his droids.
