Amazon's newest Alexa gadget is a touchscreen speaker called the Echo Show. Click through to see the sorts of things it can, you know, show you.

The addition of a touchscreen obviously meant Alexa needed a whole new look. And here it is -- a 7-inch touchscreen display housed in a blocky little smart speaker.

The new design ditches the cylindrical curvature of the Echo and Echo Dot. Instead, things are much more angular.

The Echo Show has just three buttons up top. For everything else, you'll use the touchscreen, or your voice.

Those buttons are, from right to left: Volume up, volume down and a mute button that turns Alexa off.

You'll need to keep the Echo Show plugged in.

The marquee feature is video calls to other Alexa users. FaceTime-like chats are just an Alexa command away.

You can also ask to see the feed from select smart home cameras. Options from Nest, August, Logitech and the Netgear Arlo are all supported at launch.

You only get one fixed viewing angle and you can't reposition the built-in camera.

Aside from video chats, you can also stream YouTube videos, or movies from Amazon Prime Video.

Skills from Uber, Starbucks, CNN and others take advantage of the Echo Show's new touchscreen, and more are on the way.

And yes, you can shop Amazon on this thing (duh).

All told, the Echo Show costs $230. Is it a worthy new Alexa flagship? Read our full review for the final verdict.
