Samsung Wireless

The new Samsung Wireless mobile media streaming drive is very similar to the Seagate Wireless Plus. For now, though, it only comes with a mobile app for the Android platform.

The device is basically a USB 3.0 portable drive with a built-in battery and an embedded Wi-Fi access point, all in a small package about the same size as the Seagate Wireless Plus.

On the side it has a power button and indicator lights to show the power status and the status of the Wi-Fi network. Up to five Wi-Fi devices can connect to the Samsung Wireless drive at a time.

The device comes with a USB power adapter that works anywhere in the world. It also comes with an extra USB port to also work as a juice pack.
