With this messaging app, you can do all the usual extras like send pictures, videos or your location. But the ability to correct sent messages and the added end-to-end security make it better than most.

All the amenities

Like other messaging apps, ReTXT lets you send text, your location, audio clips and photos. But you also can request clarification from your friend (note question mark) and edit past messages.

Before editing

Here you can see a conversation between Sarah and me where I've swiped to the left on my earlier message at the top. This reveals buttons that let me edit or delete the message.

Editing mode

Here you can see my original message is now down in the entry field, and I can make edits to the message to correct misspellings or change the message entirely.

Access your photos

Just like all messaging apps, you can get access to your photo and video libraries to add to your messages.
