Nokia Astound

Introduced at CTIA 2011, the Nokia Astound is a rebranded version of the C7. The Symbian 3 device will be available from T-Mobile starting April 6 for $79.99 with a two-year contract.

Design

Though Nokia has had its ups and downs, the Finnish handset manufacturer has a reputation of making good hardware. The Astound is a good example of that, with its sleek and premium design.

On the right spine, you will find a volume rocker, a mute button, a lock switch, and a dedicated camera key.

Top view

The top of the phone houses the 3.5mm headphone jack, power button, and Micro-USB port. The Astound ships with a micro-pin charger, but you can use the Micro-USB port to charge the phone as well.

Imaging

As we mentioned, the Astound is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and has a dual-LED flash. There are plenty of editing options and tools as well, including face detection, different color tones, and an onboard photo editor.
