As well as announcing the Coolpix P90, Nikon has added to its budget L and stylish S camera ranges. Please give a warm snow-day-that's-not-quite-as-good-as-yesterday's-snow-day welcome to the S630, S620, S230, S220 and L19, L20 and L100.

First up is the 12-megapixel S630, pictured above. It has a wonky shape that Nikon reckons makes it easier to hold. With optical image stabilisation and not-half-bad 10fps burst shooting, it's available in red or black.

The S630 will cost £290. All the S cameras and two of the L series will be on sale from 20 February 2009, with the other model pushing its luck on 13 March. For a closer look at the new arrivals, complete with UK prices, take a look through our photos.

The S620 arguably looks more interesting than the S630, with a 4x zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens for £240. It comes in bright silver, calm black, noble purple and precious pink, whatever they are.
The 10-megapixel S230 is yours for £190, sporting a 76mm (3-inch) touchscreen and 17 scene modes.
Only 16 scene modes for the S220, which is a snip at £150. It's available in soft silver, warm silver, aqua green, gloss red, night blue, cobalt blue and 'magenta to black'. No, we don't know either.
You can own the 8-megapixel AA battery-powered L19 in silver or pink, with its 69mm (2.7-inch) screen, for just under £100.
The 10-megapixel L20 gets you a 76mm screen in a black or red body for £130.
Saving the best for last, the 10-megapixel Coolpix L100 is another superzoom to join the P90, packing a 15x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens. It's yours for £240 on Friday 13 March.

he Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
