Though it launched globally last year, the Huawei MediaPad T1 tablet is now available through the mobile company's online store portal and e-commerce giant Amazon. It is selling for $189 (£120 and AU$232, converted) unlocked.

The device runs a rather dated version of Google Android's mobile operating system -- 4.3 Jelly Bean (as of now, Google has released version 5.0 Lollipop and later updates).

Other features include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard memory, and up to 32GB of expandable storage. Users can find the microSD card slot on the edge of the tablet.
