Microsoft is scheduled to release its Windows Phone Mango update this fall, but with new software also comes new hardware. The HTC Radar is one of two new Mango handsets introduced by HTC in Europe today.
In addition to running Windows Phone 7.5, the Radar has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8GB of internal storage (no expansion slot), and a 3.8-inch WVGA touch screen. Also, though Microsoft restricts the amount of customization an OEM can do to the software, HTC has made some enhancements to its HTC Hub.
As reported, Windows Phone 7.5 does indeed bring support for front-facing cameras. HTC did not have more information about Skype integration, but the company said that the Radar will come preloaded with the Tango video chat app.
