The candy display is functional -- just lift the door and help yourself to your favorite movie-time snack.
Popcorn machine and pretzel warmer.
The restaurant booth allows you to eat and watch the movie.
Michael says: "I made the mountain out of spray foam and glue. I painted it, sprayed it with beach sand, then airbrushed details such as cracks. The screen is a 106-inch Stewart."
We didn't ask him why he built the mountain.

Epson 5040 UBE projector.
Klipsch tower speaker.
Michael says: "This rack is in the basement just below the theater, cool and dry. The LAN cabinet has supplemental cooling fans that activate if needed. This way you don't hear fans running while you're watching a movie."
In this rack:
Buttkicker amp (pulled for repair)
DVR from cable company
Russound controller for whole house audio
Denon amp for whole house audio source
Pioneer Elite SC-LX501 amp for theater
Russound amp for whole house audio
Here's the second rack, located in the theater because it doesn't get hot enough to need cooling.
Panamax power conditioner
Sony Blu-ray player
Sony 300-disc DVD player
Keyboard to add labels to the DVDs
Speaking of cooling, there's beer on tap. "My wife's a nurse," Michael says, "hence the sign."
Island Oasis frozen margarita machine.
Klipsch rear-channel speaker.
