Woodside grabs $4 million

Woodside Networks said Tuesday that Nokia Venture Partners has invested $4 million in the wireless technology company. The cash infusion brings the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company's funding to $32 million, which includes a $20 million second round led by Accel Partners and Sevin Rosen Funds. The company is developing technology for wireless local area networks (LANs) that run on the 802.11b or Wi-Fi, and 802.11a networking standards. Nokia Venture Partners is a VC firm mostly backed by Nokia, a maker of mobile phones and wireless equipment.
