The Nintendo Revolution was a perfectly good name for a console! Better than Wii, anyway. Why did Nintendo have to change it?
Beyond being just a silly name, there are some problems with Nintendo's new console moniker. The logo looks a bit like a monochrome, nonitalicized version of the logo for Intel's vaguely defined Viiv technology. Worse yet, according to a domain lookup, www.wii.com (currently blank) is owned by Williamette Industries of Portland, Oregon.
If Nintendo is really planning on keeping the Nintendo Wii brand name, it might run into some troubles beyond a few million gamers thinking it's ridiculous.
