Animation studio IA4 has remade Star Wars: A New Hope as a speed run, telling the film's story in just one minute.

If you have a minute to spare, there are worse ways to spend it than thinking about Star Wars. Now, thanks to 1A4 Studio, you can spend that minute re-watching the entirety of Episode IV: A New Hope. Well, kind of.

The animation studio has condensed the film down to just one minute of action as part of its Speedrun series of very short YouTube films (following Back to the Future and The Matrix in 60 seconds). The animation itself is pretty solid; as you can imagine, though, it's not exactly nuanced. If you've not seen A New Hope, we doubt this version will make a lot of sense to you.

On the other hand, if you have seen it, you'll know exactly what's going on. However, we do find its lack of Vader dialogue disturbing.
