Utah forced to allow Net ministers

A federal judge has quashed Utah's attempt to discriminate against ministers who are ordained by e-mail. The court last week struck down a law that made it illegal for someone to use the Web to obtain the power to marry people. The United Life Church, which offers products such as Ministry in a Box and promises people they can "become an ordained minister in less than 3 minutes," had sued the state.
