Top 10 phones of August
CNET.com.au's mobile guru Jeremy Roche shows you the hottest phones money can buy.

While it hasn't even hit the stores yet, the Sony Ericsson P910i scored gold by gathering the most interest from CNET.com.au readers this month. Hot on its heels is the Sony Ericsson K700i with the silver, a gorgeous little mobile phone which boasts an MP3 player and a funky interface. In third place is the Sharp GX15, scoring Vodafone (who distributes the handset in Australia) bronze.

Other noteworthy contenders include the ugliest phone that ever there was; a duo of 3 phones, the Sony Ericsson Z1010 and the LG U8110); and two phones yet to hit Australian shores -- the Motorola MPx220 and the Siemens SK65. Read on to see the rankings of the hottest phones for August.

Nokia 6230

This is a beautifully simple looking phone cleverly disguising a rich feature set.

Reader Opinion

I wish that Nokia (or Logitech) would bring out a pair of stereo bluetooth headphones so that it's possible to listen to music (either from a MP3 walkman or mobile fone) without all these stupid cords getting in the wall ALL the time!
