Just because director Paul Feig chose anfor his upcoming "Ghostbusters" film, that doesn't mean only women get to have fun with the phantoms.
Feig tweeted a photo of "Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth on Wednesday with the comment, "Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall," which could only mean one thing -- unless the director is toying with fans -- Hemsworth has been cast as the receptionist for the new "Ghostbusters" movie.
Considering that Feig decided to gender-swap the all-male cast of the original "Ghostbusters" film with comedic actresses Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, it makes perfect sense to cast Hemsworth as the receptionist, originally played by Annie Potts.
Hemsworth has already proved his comedy chops thanks toas well as in a small, hilarious role in the remake of the hit comedy "Vacation."
While the rest of the "Ghostbusters" cast has yet to be revealed, we can't wait to see who else Feig will cast, especially in the roles of any vengeful demons and clueless city officials. The four women wraith wranglers -- and their new male receptionist -- are filming in New York over the summer.
