Like me, you were probably miffed not to be invited.
We have all followed her through the ups, the downs, the fights and the frowns.
We have bought every little thing she's shilled on Twitter or Facebook. We have watched every show of reality and every relationship with a sports personality.
We have shed tears with her in unison.
But she never invited us to her opulently subtle wedding in Florence.
Some, like the New York Post, decided to deride the whole affair with sentences such as: "Sex-tape star Kim Kardashian, 33, wed egotist Kanye West, 36, in a wedding opulent enough for Florence's Medici dynasty and tacky enough for reality TV."
The rest of us, however, went to Instagram to stare at the imposssible beauty of the wedding kiss.
It was the closest we could get. And we were still grateful.
Indeed, more than 1.92 million people have declared their like for this image. This, People magazine tells me, makes it the most liked photograph in Instagram history.
Breaking records has never been easy. Most of us aspire to break just one, and still live permanently denied.
Let us rise up and sing "We Are The Champions!"
Because Kim Kardashian has done so much winning and we, for once, have managed to actively participate in one of her greatest successes.
