Logitech was the first third-party manufacturer to come out with a keyboard case for the 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro last year, and now owners of the can join the fun too.
Unlike Bluetooth keyboards, the Logitech Create keyboard case uses the Apple Smart Connector that automatically powers on and pairs with thewhen you snap it into place.
The Smart Connector also draws power from the iPad and uses it to illuminate the backlit keys, so you can still work in low-light.
How does it compare to Apple's Smart Keyboard case? Logitech's version has a row of shortcut keys on top for quick access to adjust brightness, control media, open a web browser or bring you back to the home screen. That definitely saves time and I'm not sure why the Apple version doesn't have it.
The Create is also a little cheaper than the Apple Smart Keyboard, so that might tip the scales for prospective buyers too.
The Logitech Create Keyboard case for theis available now for $129.99 in the US, which works out to about £100 or AU$175.
