"Supergirl" recently found a, and now it's found a new hunk as well. The network has revealed that Tyler Hoechlin will be playing Superman in the upcoming second season.
The news signals big changes for Supergirl," "Arrow" and "The Flash," the universe of the Greg Berlanti-produced hero shows has been in question for some time. Now we finally know (we think): these shows exist as a separate universe from the filmic DC world of "Batman v Superman."and the direction of the show, which has been carefully tiptoeing (quite literally) around the character of Superman up until now. Hoechlin, the 28-year-old new Man of Steel, was recently seen in Richard Linklater's "Everybody Wants Some!!", but is best known for his work on series "Teen Wolf" and "7th Heaven." He will also be seen in the upcoming thriller "Stratton: First into Action," previously set to star none other than Henry Cavill, our most recent big-screen Superman, before exiting last minute.
