Storage software companies to partner

SANavigator and WQuinn, two companies with software for managing storage systems, have signed a partnership to sell each other's software, the companies announced Tuesday. QWuinn will sell SANavigator 2.0, which is used for operating special-purpose storage networks called SANs (storage area networks). And SANavigator will sell WQuinn's SpaceMaxx Windows software for monitoring how much storage space a device is using. Initially, the WQuinn software will be incorporated into the Java-based SANavigator product. Later, deeper integration will take place, including SANavigator's ability to take automatic actions based on the information it receives.
