Spotify and Bumble reveal your musical tastes to your dating prospects

And you shall be judged by the artists you listen to.

Starting within the next few weeks, you'll be able to connect your Bumble account to your Spotify account and let the artists that speak to you woo your date for you.

Bumble's a dating app similar to Tinder, except that only women are allowed to initiate the conversation after a match is made. Spotify, the popular music streaming service, will show the artists you listen to most on the service as part of your profile, helping you have that much more information when deciding which way to swipe. That should also provide some conversation fodder once a match is made.

When browsing Bumble, you'll also be able to tap on an artist to jump to that page on Spotify. Now you don't need to brag about your deep and insightful taste in music to impress a potential date. Your potential matches can discover your musical preferences on their own.
