If you want a chance to see Buzz Aldrin, William Shatner and the cast of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" all in one place, you're going to want to be at Silicon Valley Comic Con 2017.

General admission tickets to Steve Wozniak's celebration of all things geek, which will be held in San Jose, California, in April, went on sale Thursday morning. And if you plan to attend, you'd better act fast; last year's inaugural event sold out before it began, attracting more than 60,000 fans of pop culture and tech.

Aiming to inspire and entertain, this year's three-day event will feature celebrity appearances; panel discussions about tech and science; film and TV screenings; cosplay contests; and more. The convention will also feature a series of themed exhibits and sessions focused on the "Future of Humankind: Where will we be in 2075?"

In addition to the famed astronaut and the original Capt. Kirk, this year's event will also feature a reunion of the cast of the '80s and '90s TV show "Next Generation," including LeVar Burton, Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner. Other guests announced Thursday include renowned physicist Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski, video game designer Richard Garriott and beamed energy propulsion pioneer Laetitia Garriott de Cayeux.

The event will be held April 21-23, 2017, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Three- and single-day passes can be purchased at SVComicCon.com.
