Short Take: Wireless Knowledge, Infowave sign software pact

WirelessKnowledge, the wireless data joint venture between Microsoft and Qualcomm, said it will use technology from Infowave Software. Infowave's products are expected to provide added features for customers using Microsoft Outlook-based applications. WirelessKnowledge's first service offering, called Revolv, is expected to launch commercially this summer. The service will allow users to access Microsoft Exchange-based data such as shared calendars, contacts, and email.
