Short Take: Ultrasound image transfer debuts

Perception, a medical device development company and designer of medical ultrasound scanning, transmission, and archival systems, debuts its ImageNet Communications Systems at the Radiological Society of North America's Annual Meeting in Chicago this week. The company will unveil the ImageNet Viewing Station, an ultrasound image transfer and review system for transmission via the Internet. The diagnostic station enables physicians to view and email images and send visual and voice consultations in an AVI movie and sound format.
