Short Take: Tech execs to buy bowling league

The Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) said the league will be sold for an undisclosed amount to former Microsoft vice president Chris Peters; Mike Slade, former president of Paul Allen's Starwave venture; and Rob Glaser, CEO of RealNetworks. The investment group plans to turn the nonprofit league into a for-profit venture and will Webcast bowling tournaments, which it says draw higher TV ratings than the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer and the Women's National Basketball League.
