The Center for Media Education has released a study reiterating earlier findings showing that Web advertising has a negative influence on minors when it comes to alcohol and tobacco use. The study, which targeted cigar sites and alcohol companies, concluded that 82 percent of the 28 beer sites examined made some appeals to youth, while 72 percent of the 29 spirit sites studied appealed to youth.
