Short Take: SAP, Microsoft to open testing facility

SAP and Microsoft said they will open two new facilities dedicated to the development, testing, and support of SAP's inter-enterprise e-business applications for the Microsoft platform. In addition, SAP reported growing momentum with customers of all sizes for its R/3 ERP system on the Microsoft Windows NT operating system and Microsoft's SQL server. Some 60 percent of new R/3 installations have been sold on Windows NT, the companies said.
