Short Take: OpenTV to offer LudiTV games

OpenTV, a leading maker of software for interactive TV programming, announced an agreement with interactive television games firm Visiware to distribute the LudiTV games channel exclusively in the Americas and Asia for the next three years. The agreement allows OpenTV to exclusively offer the largest catalogue of interactive television games available today to cable, satellite and terrestrial operators using the OpenTV software. Under the agreement, LudiTV will develop a minimum of 12 new games for OpenTV each year, in addition to the more than 20 games that have already been developed, including tennis, blackjack and racing titles.
