Short Take: Octopus Technologies releases update

Octopus Technologies, a division of the Qualix Group, announced a new version of its high-availability clustering software for Microsoft Windows NT-based networks. The software switches over applications to a secondary server automatically when the primary server fails. It supports Microsoft's Cluster Server technology, which is due sometime this summer. New enhancements also include mirroring of NT's distributed file system and forwarding of multiple IP addresses to a secondary system.
