Short Take: Lycos adds Driving Directions

Lycos added the Driving Directions service to its family of online information-finding tools. The new service, licensed from Vicinity, offers users door-to-door, turn-by-turn driving directions for metropolitan areas across the United States. Users get a set of instructions and a mini-map for each turn to guide them from their point of origin to their intended destination. Users request a preferred route, such as the fastest/shortest, freeway/surface streets, or walking/biking routes.
