Short Take: Lotus ships new fax servers

Lotus Development has shipped a pair of fax servers for users of mid-sized to large networks. Priced at $2,975, the Domino Fax Server 4.5 extends Domino networks by providing Internet-enabled and LAN-based fax support from any Windows 95 and NT application. In addition, administrators can manage the Domino Fax Server remotely with Lotus Notes or a Web browser. The Lotus mailFax 2.1 gives service providers tools to let them create fax services for their users. Priced at $15,000, the mailFax 2.1 runs on IBM's RS/6000.
