Short Take: Logitech to buy QuickCam

Mouse maker Logitech will buy Connectix's hardware business unit for $25 million. The deal includes the popular QuickCam digital camera and QuickClip device for capturing video stills from a camcorder or VCR. Logitech also makes trackballs, keyboards, joysticks, and other game controllers.
