Lexmark reported fourth-quarter revenues of $736 million, an increase of 7 percent over a year ago. The printer maker said its revenues were negatively impacted by 6 percent as a result of foreign currency translation, but its net earnings for the quarter increased 26 percent, to $57 million, or 78 cents a share, compared with $45 million, or 59 cents a share, reported in 1996. Lexmark's full-year revenues were $2.5 billion, an increase of 5 percent over 1996 revenues.
