Short Take: Intel, Hitachi, Samsung support Profusion

Intel, Hitachi and Samsung Electronics signed independent agreements in support of the Corollary Profusion multiprocessing technology. Profusion gives next-generation Pentium Pro-based systems the power to deliver the scalability, performance, and efficiency required by high-end server customers, according to the company. It extends the capabilities of Intel's four-way Pentium Pro design to systems with up to eight processors.
