Short Take: Inprise revs Delphi

Inprise will soon ship Borland Delphi version 5, which now supports HTML 4 and XML. The rapid application development tool for Windows will be available in August and cost $2,499 for the enterprise edition, $799 for the professional edition, and $99.95 for the standard edition. Company executives said they are also exploring whether to create a version of Delphi for Linux users.
