Short Take: Ingram Micro launches bandwidth resale program

Ingram Micro, the large wholesale technology products and services distributor, has launched a new program allowing telecom companies to sell bandwidth services through Ingram Micro's 140,000 resellers. The program, called "rapidband," is in trial with Rhythms NetConnections, a competitive local exchange carrier and a leading provider of high-bandwidth digital subscriber lines. The program is targeted at other CLECs, Baby Bells, and long distance carriers.
