Short Take: Houston Summit to be called Compaq Center

The home of the Houston Rockets reportedly no longer will be called the Summit. Houston's city council unanimously approved changing the name of the 22-year-old city-owned arena to Compaq Center. Compaq Computer will pay $5.4 million over six years for the naming rights. The money will be used to improve the 22-year-old city-owned arena, also the home of the Houston Aeros minor-league hockey team.
