Short Take: Emachines lands European retail deal

Low-cost PC specialist Emachines today announced it will sell its computers in Europe through a joint venture with UK-based retailer Dixons Group. Dixons will sell Emachines PCs through its 850 Dixons, Currys and PC World stores in the UK and Ireland, as well as its other European retail chains. It will also supply Emachines computers to third-party retailers in a number of European countries where Dixons does not currently have a presence.
