International telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom is launching an Internet telephony pilot project in the United States that will allow customers to make long distance calls to 20 countries in Europe, the Far East, Latin America, and South America. The project will work with regular touch-tone phones, and requires no installation or monthly subscription charges. Prices will range from 19 cents a minute to 99 cents a minute.
