Short Take: Delta picks supplier for PC program

Delta Airlines today picked Hewlett-Packard and IBM to provide more than 70,000 employees free PCs and portables. The airline earlier this month followed Ford in offering essentially free PCs to employees. But at the time it announced the "Wired Workforce" program Delta had not picked system suppliers. San Francisco-based PeoplePC will provide technical support and Internet access.
