Short Take: Concentric Network, WebTV extend contract

Concentric Network and Microsoft's WebTV Networks have extended their agreement under which Concentric provides dial-up access to the interactive TV and Internet service. Concentric was the first network service provider for WebTV when it launched in 1996. The new two-year deal begins January 1, and calls for Concentric to supply additional capacity during the November and December holiday season.
