Short Take: CA in Unicenter deal with IBM

Computer Associates announced it is building a version of its Unicenter TNG network management software for OS/390, IBM's operating system for mainframe computers. CA also announced plans to support IBM's S/390 Multiprise 3000 Server, an OS/390-based server aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. CA executives also announced a new licensing model that will lower the maintenance fees for CA products that run on OS/390.
