Anschutz, the largest single shareholder in Qwest Communications International, has cut its stake in the company to less than half, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The privately-held Anschutz sold approximately 9 million shares of Qwest common stock, lowering its stake to about 48 percent. Anschutz still holds about 160 million shares.
