Short Take: AMD's Duron chip could show up in notebooks

A limited number of notebooks featuring Advanced Micro Devices' Duron chip could hit the market in the next few months, according to sources. AMD removed a mobile version of the current Duron chip from its road map earlier this year. However, a limited number of chips are available. AMD's first large-scale push to get a Duron chip into portables will occur in the second quarter of next year when the processor, code-named Morgan, appears.
