Short Take: Adobe debuts Photoshop plug-in

Adobe Systems debuted its newest plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, a photo and design application for print, multimedia, and Web content production. Photoshop 4.0 applies MMX technology, which speeds graphics processing, to three times as many Photoshop functions as the first-generation plug-in. The new plug-in, called MMXCORE.8BX, is now available for free download at Adobe's Web site.
