IBM has reportedly been cleared of charges that the company violated labor laws in its treatment of Mexican workers at a facility in San Jose, California. Federal and state authorities were investigating whether employees had appropriate work visas and whether they were being paid less than minimum wage. The Immigration and Naturalization Service has issued a statement saying that the visas were used properly and that IBM had not violated any laws, according to the Associated Press. The investigation was initially reported in the San Jose Mercury News.
